Sippin’ on Love’s blurred illusions,
I search for jagged answers sublime.
Sinkin’ into deep confusion
I think about the weight of my crime.
Shrinkin’ back from my delusions,
I blink away emotional brine.
Smokin’ from my pipe of freedom,
I stare with empty heart into space.
Chokin’ on emotional treason,
I wonder how I came to this place.
Starin’ through guilt-gilded mirrors,
at darkened lines etched into my face.
