Question and Answer
Slow sinking sun eagerly drains into horizon,
stretching shadows that envelop scatt’ring light.
Nocturnal orb anxiously awaits instructions
to morph dying day into renaissance of night—
Crepuscular thaumaturgic transformation
through dark skies illuminate lunar desires
brightly shining through confiding conflagration,
revealing riddles forged from daylight’s solar fires.
All the songs she sings as the moon
dissipate too soon, evanescing to the sun-
rising rays reappear in eastern skyline;
evening’s shadows slowly retreat into day,
uncovering hidden secrets entombed in time,
exposing questions deeply burning beneath clay.
